Angela was influenced by her teachers in elementary school who helped her to believe that she had great potential and provided the support for her to pursue her dreams. In tribute to the educators who made a difference in her life, it is her mission to make sure that each child at Charlotte Park Elementary School is afforded every opportunity to develop to their highest potential. Angela’s vision for Charlotte Park Elementary School is to establish a school climate and culture that celebrates diversity and promotes educational excellence for all students.
Angela’s favorite educational quote is by Dr. Ron Edmonds (1982), “We can, whenever we choose, successfully teach all children whose schooling is of interest to us. We already know more than we need to do that. Whether or not we do it must finally depend on how we feel about the fact that we haven’t so far.”
